902nd Contingency Contracting Battalion

Mission Statement:

“Provide effective and agile expeditionary contracting across the Full Spectrum of Military Operations for Army Service Component Commanders and the Joint Warfighter. Additionally, we provide effective and responsive contracting support to US Army North in support of Homeland Defense and Disaster Recovery Operations.” Our organization is unique in that our mission takes us into every region and every province around the globe. Although we cannot go into the details of every mission, know that each and everyone here is deeply integrated, from working in various Directorates of Contracting to the most austere Forward Operating Bases with America’s finest fighting forces. Throughout your assignment, you will focus on providing the very best in contracting support. You will train daily putting those skills to practical application. You will support garrison contracting operations, exercises, training rotations at our National Training Center, and real-world Contingency and Humanitarian Missions. Our Battalion Motto is “From West to East.” This reflects the fact that the Battalion is geographically dispersed across the United States.
