Mission Statement
The mission of the Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, "Gladiators," is to, on order, deploy and conduct ISR operations, security operations, and operate tactical networks to enable 3rd Brigade Combat Team to conduct full spectrum operations. It would then, on order, redeploy and prepare for future combat operations. By providing intelligence, signal, military police, and Nuclear-Biological-Chemical (NBC) reconnaissance capabilities at a brigade level, the Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team plays a valuable role supporting the 3rd Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division.
