1st Bn - 411th Regt(LS)

The 1/411th Regiment (LS), 4th Cavalry Brigade, First Army Division East (Blackjack Battalion) is a logistical and maintenance support organization. Its mission is to serve as the Main Support Battalion (MSB) for the 4th Cavalry Brigade during Brigade level training exercises and deployments. Although, the Battalion Headquarters is located at Fort Knox, Kentucky, the Blackjack Battalion supports Soldiers throughout the Continental United States. It consists of seven subordinate sections. The vast majority of Soldiers assigned to the Battalion serve as Mechanics and Driver Trainers, with the primary mission of maintenance support. Our Soldiers, also, serve as Observer/Controller/Mentors to train, coach, teach, and mentor individual Soldiers and Units prior to and/or during Mobilization.
