The 174th Infantry Brigade trains mobilized Reserve Component (RC) units for deployment IAW Combatant Commander, Department of the Army, FORSCOM, and First Army directives. Plans and executes post-mobilization operations at Mobilization Training Centers and exercises OPCON of mobilized RC forces. Within capability, conducts pre-mobilization training for RC forces.

On Order, deploy and provide operational training and support within the regional Combatant Commander's areas of responsibility in order to accomplish theater objectives.
