MISSION STATEMENT
3rd Battalion, 309th Regiment (CS/CSS) trains mobilized reserve component units for deployment in accordance with Combatant Commander, Department of the Army, FORSCOM, and First Army directives. Plans and executes post-mobilization operations at Mobilization Training Centers and exercises OPCON of mobilized RC forces. Within capability, conducts pre-mobilization training for RC forces.
On order, deploys and provides training readiness oversight, support and evaluation to RC CS/CSS units in order to enhance individual and unit readiness to meet directed mobilization and/or wartime requirements.
On order, deploy and provide operational training and support within the regional Combatant Commander's areas of responsibility in order to accomplish theater objectives.
