Mission Statement:

The mission of the 1st Battalion, 3rd Air Defense Artillery was to,on order, deploy rapidly by air, sea, and land in support of the 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized) contingency operations, provides timely and accurate early warning and air defense against hostile aerial threats to ensure force protection within the Division's Area or Responsibility.
