46th AG Battalion (Reception)

Mission Statement:

The 46th Adjutant General Battalion (Reception) was originally constituted as the 46th Replacement Battalion on 25 March 1943 in the Army of the United States as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 46th Replacement Battalion. The Battalion was activated on 15 April 1943 at Camp Cooke, California, as part of the 11th Replacement Depot and was subsequently deployed to the Asian-Pacific theater. On 1 November, 1943, the Battalion was reorganized with Companies A, B and C being redesignated as the 191st, 192nd and 193rd Replacement Companies.
